One fire appliance from Bridgwater attended a car park in plum lane after reports of a car on fire.
On arrival the car was heavily smoke logged and crews were trying to gain entry to the vehicle using small tools and wearing breathing apparatus. A hose reel jet was also in use. The vehicle was 20% damaged by fire and 80% damaged by smoke after the fire had been extinguished. It is believed that the fire was an electrical problem.
