Two fire engines were sent to a report of a car on fire just off the A38 near Rattery, Devon.

On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire and extinguished it using:

  • hose reel jet
  • 2 breathing apparatus
  • thermal image camera
  • electric cutting equipment.

The car was 50 per cent damaged by fire and the cause was accidental.
