Vehicle fire

Fire control received a call from a farm in Coldridge regarding a telehandler fire. 1 fire engine from Crediton and 1 from North Tawton were assigned to the incident alongside a water carrier from Danes castle ( Exeter).

On arrival crews confirmed a small fire in the engine compartment of the telehandler, crews got to work with 1 jet and 1 thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and subsequently stood down the oncoming water carrier.

This is believed to be accidental.
