Vehicle fire

Two appliances one each from Wells and Street with the water bowser from Yeovil were mobilised to a report of a tractor on fire on Prestleigh Hill, Prestleigh, Shepton Mallet.

On arrival at the incident crew confirmed an additional appliance was required due to a large tractor well alight with a running fuel fire,  an appliance from Shepton Mallet was mobilised. 

Update 14:25

One tractor and trailer involved in fire, 100% damage to the tractor by fire and 20% moderate damage to the trailer. Crew used one hose reel, one main jet, one compressed foam jet, one foam extinguisher, one damming mat to extinguish the fire.
