Fire Control received a call reporting a tractor on fire at Holmbeam Lane, Newton Abbot and mobilised two Pumping Appliances from Ashburton and Newton Abbot and a Water Foam Carrier from Torquay.
On arrival the crews confirmed one tractor located in a field was fully involved in fire and crews were using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.
At 12:41 crews confirmed one tractor had sustained 100% fire damage, crews used three breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire which was believed to be accidental in origin.
