Vehicle fire

Fire Control mobilised 2 appliances from Crownhill and Greenbank to reports of a vehicle on fire on the A38.

Once in attendance, crew carried out investigations and requested the attendance of National Highways for road traffic management.

Crew confirmed that the fire was out on arrival and inspected the vehicle using a thermal image camera. The cause of this was accidental.
