Vehicle fire

Fire Control received reports of a car on fire in a lay-by on the A30, and immediately sent fire engines to the scene.

Crews found a car well alight and set to work using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and a compressed air foam jet. Small tools and hydraulic equipment were also used. 

The car was approximately 50% damaged by fire, and left in the hands of the owner and recovery.
