Vehicle fire

1 Fire engine from Middlemoor Exeter was sent to reports of a fire involving a vehicle.

On arrival, crews confirmed there to be a fire within the engine compartment.  All persons were free and clear of the incident.

The fire was extinguished using 1 breathing apparatus wearer, 1 hose reel jet, small tools and a thermal imaging camera.

The vehicle sustained fire damage to the engine compartment and duty of care was left with the owner of the vehicle.

The cause was accidental.
