Vehicle fire

Fire control received a call to a vehicle fire on Mile End Road in Newton Abbot.

Control mobilised 1 fire appliance from Newton Abbot.

Once on scene crews confirmed flames issuing from underneath the foot well of the vehicle. 

Final update - crews confirmed the fire confined to the foot well has been extinguished using 1 hose reel jet, 1 thermal imaging camera and small tools. The vehicle was 10% damaged by fire. Crews confirmed this to be accidental.
