We are currently dealing with a large fire involving a Combine Harvester in a field of crops in Binegar, Wells, Somerset. We currently have 8 fire engines and other specialist vehicles in attendance. 

Crews are currently using:

  • foam jets
  • hose reel jets
  • farm machinery to try and damp down and extinguish the fire 

Update 17:50 - this incident has now scaled down and one pump will attend later this evening - update will follow.
