Fire control received calls to the Alcombe area of Minehead for a Bus on fire.
Control mobilised 3 Fire appliances from Minehead, Porlock and Williton and a water bowser from Barnstaple.
Once on scene, Minehead confirmed 1 bus well alight using 2 Hose reel jets to extinguish fire and all persons were free and clear from the bus safe and well.
Crews confirmed the engine compartment of bus destroyed by fire. Crews used 2 hose reel jets to extinguish fire and used 1 drain protector to prevent fluids leaking into drains.
This incident was handed over to bus company and police.
