Vehicle fire

A fire engine from Danes Castle in Exeter was mobilised to Higher Ashton nr Exeter following a car that had caught fire on a public highway. On arrival the vehicle was alight and they set to work extinguishing it with 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet. Unfortunately the car was 95% damaged by fire and once he scene was made safe duty of care was left with the owner awaiting recovery.
