Fire control received a call from a member of the public to a vehicle fire on Holcombe down road, Teignmouth.
A fire engine from Teignmouth attended the incident, on arrival crews confirmed the transit van was well alight and immediately requested a second fire engine to provide additional water.
Crews got to work with 1 thermal imaging camera, 2 breathing apparatus, 2 jets and utilised a local hydrant to extinguish the fire.
The van and contents were severely damaged by fire. The cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental.
