Fire Control received several calls to reports of a coach fire at the junction in Bridgwater this evening.
Two fire engines and the water carrier from Bridgwater were mobilised.
On arrival, crews confirmed one coach fire, well alight in the engine compartment.
Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet. The fire caused 100% fire damage to the engine compartment and approx 20% fire damage to the passenger compartment.
The cause was accidental. Duty of care was left with the police.
