Property fire

Fire control mobilised fire appliances from Tiverton and Bampton to a report of an electric car on fire inside a garage.

Tiverton crews shortly made up for the attendance of a water carrier which was mobilised from Barnstaple, however was soon stood down. 

Crews confirmed that the car was outside of the garage however both the car and garage was well alight. The car was 100% damaged by fire and the garage which measured approximately 7metres x 6 meters was also 100% damaged by fire. Crews used 2x breathing apparatus, 1x hose reel jet, 1x thermal image camera and created a water shuttle from the nearest hydrant to supply water to extinguish the fire. 

This is believed to be accidental.
